LDI Graduates 2020We start things off with a virtual commencement for our 30 colleagues graduating as the 2019-2020 cohort of Leadership Development Institute Graduates on July 31 from 12:30 pm-2 pm. The recognition of this professional development milestone will feature an inspirational commencement address from Dr. Joyce Marter, renowned clinical psychologist, author, and motivational speaker and other special guests. To sign up to attend the graduation ceremony please register here.  (Graduates can also use this link for family members to attend). Full PDF of LDI Graduates.   If you missed the graduation you can watch it on YouTube.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the weeks of August 3rd and August 10th from 11AM - 2PM, there will be a morning speaker and two breakout sessions. There will also be daily breaks when attendees can visit the virtual marketplace to learn more about our vendors and sponsors. We are excited to roll out the Peer Groups at this year's conference, where colleagues can share ideas, triumphs, and challenges to spark conversation and learn new ideas from each other.

In addition to the live virtual experience, recordings of all of the live sessions, presentation slide decks and handouts will be accessible to conference attendees electronically.

The conference agenda includes 18 high quality trainings that will excite, inspire and inform community anti-poverty advocates, community action program staff, new and senior management, agency volunteers, and anti-poverty agency board members.

In addition to the scheduled sessions and events that make up the conference, there are opportunities for learning from peers and colleagues who share similar interests and responsibilities at their agencies.  We are excited to roll out Peer Groups at this conference, where colleagues who work within the same fields can share ideas, triumphs, and challenges to spark conversation and learn new ideas from each other.
