Adult Education

To enhance the employment prospects of vulnerable families, many Community Action Agencies offer adult literacy classes, GED preparation, and job preparation/life skills training.  These building blocks are precursors to training and assistance from resume writing and practice for completing employment applications, job hunting and interviewing for jobs.  Some CAAs offer entry level computer training and other occupational training as a first step toward building or rebuilding careers.
